Community Support and Volunteer Opportunities with Inland Valley Hope Partners
Inland Valley Hope Partners depends on caring community members of all ages to help support individuals and families experiencing poverty. Each year, more than 150 volunteers donate over 20,000 hours to help power programs that make a meaningful difference in our community.
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for both individuals and groups. Opportunities that can accommodate organized groups will be clearly marked with “Groups” next to the listing. These group-friendly opportunities are ideal for youth groups, faith communities, service clubs, employee volunteer days, team-building experiences, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Important: Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present during all activities.

Self-Guided Volunteer Activities
(Great for individuals, families, workplaces, and community groups)
These activities can be organized independently by volunteers. We simply ask that you contact our office in advance so we can coordinate details such as timing and drop-off locations. Food drives are especially popular during the holiday season—such as Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas—when community need is often greater. Book and school supply drives tend to see the most support during the summer and at the beginning of the school year, helping ensure students are prepared and families have the resources they need.
Food Drives
Support local families by collecting nutritious food. (Attached – Food Staples List)
Your donations help ensure families have the food they need.
Book Drives
Provide books to children and families in need.
Contact our office to arrange drop-off.
Collecting School Supplies
Collect items like notebooks, pencils, crayons, and backpacks; summer is peak collection time.
Coordinate drop-off with our office.
