EVENTS supporting the Inland Valley Hope Partners

Holiday Programs

With the approach of the holidays comes a crucial time of need and a special time of giving. Our most basic need is for holiday food at our pantries. For an even simpler contribution, head to Albertsons on weekends surrounding the holidays and donate at the register toward boxed holiday dinners for our food pantries.

We also run an Adopt-A-Family program for the holidays and host a Toy Drive.

Contact Rochelle Williams for information on Adopt-A-Family or the Toy Drive:

Annual Golf Classic

Since 1996 the Inland Valley Hope Partners has held its annual golf classic at the Sierra La Verne Country Club.

Souper Bowl of Caring
On the weekend of Super Bowl Sunday (February 5, 2012), we’d like your faith community or organization to participate in another "Souper Bowl." Ask members to contribute a single dollar in an effort to support our food pantries. Check out souperbowl.org for more information or call our main office to see how you can participate!
Walk for the Hungry

The Inland Valley Hope Partners began the Walk for the Hungry in 1973, then known as the Crop Walk. This Walk has evolved into an annual event, held on the 2nd Sunday afternoon in October. Walkers raise money for local hungry residents, while also supporting global hunger issues.

This year’s Walk was again a success and we thank everybody that donated and/or came out to walk with us.

If you’d like to read about the Walk or our director’s thoughts on walking for hunger, check out pages 1 and 2 of our October newsletter. To see pictures of the great turnout, check them out on our group page on Facebook or check out our Flickr page. For a great video of the walkers getting started click here.
